Description
1) Happy (early) Halloween to anyone who looks at this!
2) I started this and finished it within two days. I only stopped working on it to eat and sleep. That's a sort of dedication I haven't experience in a while.
3) This is by far the most complicated pic I've ever drawn. I've not done a pic that had more than one person in it and all the figures are overlapping and Cyborg is always the most complicated to draw. And I had to scan it in pieces then bring it together in photoshop which was a pain. And it looks sooo much brighter in person!
4) On to the fun stuff, this is a pic of our beloved Titans dressed up as Marvel comic characters! Here we have:
The Boy Soldier- Robin as Bucky Barnes
I chose Robin to be Bucky because he is/was the famous sidekick to Captain America just as Robin is/was the famous sidekick to Batman. Bucky also goes on to have his own persona when he gets older, Winter Soldier, just like Robin becomes Nightwing. And on top of that, Scott Menville provided the voice for both Robin and Bucky in Teen Titans and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes respectively. So there ya go.
The Jubilant Star- Starfire as Jubilee of the X-Men
I just chose Star to be Jubilee because Jubilation(Jubilee's real name) means being happy. Star's a pretty happy little alien who just loves to dress up for Halloween!
The Violet Witch- Raven as The Scarlet Witch of The Avengers. I chose Raven to be Wanda a.k.a The Scarlet Witch because they both use magic of sorts and they both have dads that are supervillians (Raven has Trigon and Wanda has Magneto). In addition to that, Tara Strong provided the voice for both Raven and The Scarlet Witch in Teen Titans and The Super Hero Squad Show respectively!
Beast Gambit- Beast Boy as Gambit of the X-Men
I chose Beast Boy to be Gambit because Gambit is a ladies man and Beasy Boy thinks he's a ladies man. Close enough right? Well if not, both of their last names start with L (Garfield Logan and Remy Lebeau)
War Cyborg- Cyborg as War Machine
I chose Cyborg to be War Machine (Iron Man's best friend) because he is basically a more kid-friendly War Machine that wasn't designed for war but he could still kick some ass.
So there you have it, The Titanic Avengers! Happy Halloween!
